How I Save Money on Christmas Cards Every Year

I can’t believe it’s almost Halloween.

In Minnesota, we’re finally getting the fall ‘crisp-ness’ and I’ve been running our faux fireplace (we DIY-ed this last summer, and I’m still in love).

That said, our Christmas decor is still safely packed away, for now… 😉

Every year after Halloween, I panic and think about Christmas cards. And THANKFULLY, this is the perfect time to snag my favorite Christmas card deal.

The Best Christmas Card Deal

Since 2017 (don’t ask me how that’s possible 🤯), I’ve been buying this deal on Groupon for our Christmas cards and it saves me a ton. of. money.

Plus, having your cards done early is a huge relief once December hits and the holiday season gets crazy…you’ll thank me later.

A word to the wise though – this price doesn’t cover everything – you still need to pay shipping, tax, and if you want something on the backside of your card.

But still – $22.49 for 70 good quality, cardstock Christmas cards and envelopes is a STEAL. (you can buy in larger or smaller increments too!)

Tips for using the deal:

  • Check out the designs online before you grab the deal if you’re not sure there’ll be something you like (there’s tons of options, I put a few of my faves below 🙂
  • When hitting checkout, I always choose photo style instead of matte – you’ll get a glossier finish that’s extra pretty for the holidays.
  • Once bought, your deal won’t expire until at least January 2025 – so even if you end up sending New Years cards, you’re covered 😉
  • If you haven’t taken family pictures recently, just remember, you only need one. That’s it! One good one, or funny one, or even a real life one is perfect to share this season.

Groupon says this specific deal ends at midnight tonight, so even if you’re not ready to order your cards yet, you can buy the deal and use it later.

Happy Christmas card shopping!

Psst… while you’re at it, grab these great Christmas coupons to add to your child’s Christmas stocking this year!

Looking for other things to do do with your cute family pictures?

There’s also a great deal on Small Woods Home photos – use the code TREATS for 30% off. I just bought refill prints (a new offering they have to replace your framed photos) and I’m so excited to replace my old photos!
